A Conversation with Rabbi Steinsaltz
Rabbi Adin Even Yisrael (Steinsaltz) sits down for a conversation at Chabad of Westmount in Montreal, Canada. In this frank and informal discussion, he talks about politics, love, family, and more with Murray Dalfen.

better than americans? Not nice. Even though I am not sure if he was joking but as an American I think making a distinction between Americans and Canadians is not that much. They are providing tons of drugs to this country and has its own style if evil. I happen to thank America for giving my immigrant family the ability to elevate ourselves economically. Most good Americans today are marginalized unfortunately.
So just want to say this rabbi is quite knowledgeable and I am sure a good person. However America is a wonderful place. (Even though I will admit America seems to be losing its goodness since our government has become very very corrupt and the media has been compromised.)
I'm pretty sure the Rabbi was just joking. I agree that America has given many people much blessing, and that we need to be thankful for America.
